Uma interface do usuário (120, 212) é configurada para receber entrada de dados correspondente a um ou mais palavras compostas. um processador (206) é configurado para identificar combinações de palavras de palavras mais curtas que poderão ser combinadas para formar uma parte ou a totalidade de uma ou mais palavras compostas. Uma tela (118, 208) é configurada para mostrar as combinações de palavras em uma prioridade com base em um ou mais critérios, como distinguir combinações de palavras tendo diferentes quantidades de palavras mais curtas.
