Abstract
"MODELO RELACIONAL PARA INFORMAÇÕES DE GERENCIAMENTO EM DISPOSITIVOS DE REDE". Descrevem-se aparelhos e processos para gerenciamento de sistemas em um ambiente heterogêneo. Por exemplo, consulta relacional por parte de um aplicativo de software, requisitando informações de gerenciamento a partir de uma fonte de informações especificada, é recebida e traduzida para mensagens de protocolo nativo, de acordo com um protocolo de acesso associado à fonte de informações. As mensagens de protocolo nativo são manipuladas como uma transação com a fonte de informações, e o resultado é retornado ao aplicativo de software.
