Os processo e sistema em uma modalidade permitem que os dispositivos e aplicações automaticamente se comuniquem e troquem serviços entre eles, por exemplo, por cheque dos serviços de base de conhecimento e de outros serviços para instruções de como tratar uma exceção. Em outra modalidade, os dispositivos e aplicações iniciam, automaticamente, as ações necessárias para tratar a exceção.
