Abstract

"PET COMO UM SELO DE BORDA PARA COMPOSIÇÕES MULTILAMINADAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um selo de borda, que emprega poli (tereftalato de etileno) (PET), aderido à borda de um vidro laminado por uma camada de material adesivo, para aperfeiçoar a proteção contra condições ambientais. O selo de borda reivindicado por esta invenção também age como um material resistente a risco, ajudando a impedir dano às bordas durante manuseio, transporte e instalação do produto de vidro laminado. Essa borda pode ser aplicada a construções de vidro laminado arquitetônicas ou de transporte, planas ou curvas, incluindo vidro resistente à bala.
