Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE UMA COMPOSIÇÃO PARA REMOVER SEUS CONTAMINANTES E COMPOSIÇÃO LIVRE DE CONTAMINANTES". Trata-se de um processo para remover os contaminantes de componentes de PET através da mistura de etano diol com um estoque de PET a uma temperatura próxima do ponto de ebulição do etano diol e por um tempo suficiente para converter os componentes de tereftalato de polietileno em polímeros de tereftalato de polietileno que são solúveis em etano diol e para formar tereftalato de bis(hidróxi etila) e produzir uma sua mistura do produto que contém materiais insolúveis. Os polímeros de tereftalato de polietileno, o tereftalato de bis(hidróxi etila) e o etano diol solúveis são recuperados da mistura do produto.
