Um conjunto cruzado é fornecido para conectar um sistema de áudio incluindo um amplificador e dois ou mais transdutores. O conjunto cruzado inclui um conjunto de filtro de tweeter e um conjunto de filtro woofer. o conjunto de filtro tweeter inclui um alojamento de filtro tweeter, um filtro tweeter montado no alojamento de filtro tweeter, uma porta de entrada, uma porta de saída e um primeiro conector mecânico. O conjunto de filtro woofer inclui um alojamento de filtro woofer, um filtro woofer montado no alojamento de filtro woofer, uma porta de entrada, uma porta de saída e um segundo conector mecânico. Os conjuntos de filtro tweeter e woofer são engatáveis pelo interengate dos primeiro e segundo conectores mecânicos e são separáveis pelo desengate dos primeiro e segundo conectores mecânicos.
