Constituído por anel externo (1), anel intermediário (2) e anel interno (3), providos com encaixes (4) para conformar um recheio (5) esférico apropriado para conter internamente uma camada filtrante (6) conformada por palha, fios, fitilhos e plástico reticulado adensados e repuxados externamente proporcionando formatos externos com flexibilidade, para preencher totalmente a área da torre, resultando em excelente performance, com a vantagem de possibilitar a troca do elemento filtrante a qualquer tempo, para as diversas características dos gases e, para limpeza e manutenção, possibilitando a sua lavagem sem a necessidade do descarte e, reduzindo sobremaneira o seu custo final.
