Utilizados contra a erosão causada pela água nas margens de rios e lagos, bem como para proteção contra a ação das ondas em praias e embarcadouros, formado por uma série de perfis construídos preferivelmente em plástico, interconectados, incorporando elementos para aumento de resistência aos esforços tangenciais causados pelo movimento das águas e ancorados na margem para funcionar como diques de vedação e de proteção.
