Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREVENÇÃO DA CORROSÃO DE REFRATÁRIOS À BASE DE ALUMINA - CARBETO DE SILÍCIO - CARBONO - ESPINÉLIO DE ALUMÍNIO E MAGNÉSIO, INSTALADOS EM CARROS TORPEDOS, MEDIANTE FORMAÇÃO DE CAMADA PROTETORA - FCP". Refere-se a presente invenção ao desenvolvimento de um processo para prevenção da corrosão de refratários à base de alumina - carbeto de silício - carbono - espinélio de alumínio e magnésio, instalados em Carros Torpedos, mediante Formação de Camada Protetora - FCP, efetuada por meio da saturação da escória industrial de processo com óxido de magnésio, visando a proteger o material e reduzir a sua taxa de desgaste, com o objetivo final de prolongar a campanha do revestimento refratário dos Carros Torpedos.
