Abstract
"EMULSIFICAÇÃO AQUOSA DE POLIOLEFINAS FUNCIONALIZADAS DE ALTO PESO MOLECULAR". Um método direto de única etapa de fazer uma emulsão aquosa de poliolefina funcionalizada de alto peso molecular é fornecido. Nesse método direto de uma única etapa, uma poliolefina funcionalizada com peso molecular de pelo menos 10.000, um ácido graxo, uma base, um surfactante e áqua são aquecidos em um recipiente reacional de pressão a uma temperatura acima da temperatura de emulsificação da poliolefina com agitação por um período de tempo suficiente para formar uma emulsão aquosa. Essa emulsão aquosa de poliolefina funcionalizada de alto peso molecular pode ser adicionada a uma composição colante e aplicada diretamente em fibras de vidro no processo de fabricação de fibras de vidro.
