Uma característica estrutural (6) formada na parede (7) de um recipiente plástico, possuindo uma superfície interna (8), uma superfície externa (9) e uma espessura de parede (29) e sendo adequado para conter um líquido sob pressão, por exemplo, uma bebida carbonatada, incluindo uma parte vazada estrutural integral possuindo uma superfície côncava anular voltada de forma adjacente à superfície externa (9), um frustum interconectando a parte vazada com uma área ou uma seção curva (22) possuindo uma superfície côncava anular voltada para o interior (14) e formada integralmente com a parede do recipiente. Um recipiente associado para os líquidos pressurizados e/ou materiais de enchimento a quente e um molde de assopramento associado e método também são incluídos.
