A invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de travamento para veículos, em especial para aeronaves, com um elemento de acionamento acionado ativamente, o qual dispõe de um eixo motriz ao qual está direta ou indiretamente conectado um eixo impulsionado O dispositivo de travamento compreende um elemento de acionamento (5) acionado ativamente, que dispõe de um eixo motriz (6) ao qual está direta ou indiretamente conectado um eixo impulsionado (10), deve estar atribuído ao eixo motriz (6) ou ao eixo impulsionado (10) no mínimo um imã permanente (11) que age em conjunto com no mínimo um outro elemento fixo externo (12), em especial imãs permanentes (12).
