Abstract

"MOLDE SEGMENTADO DE PNEU PARA REDUZIR A REBARBA". A presente invenção refere-se a um molde de pneu para moldar um pneu com rebarba reduzida nas paredes laterais. O molde tem um conjunto anular de segmentos de molde de banda de rodagem que tem uma superfície circunferencial interna e projeções que se estendem para dentro que formam o padrão de banda de rodagem no pneu, incluindo a superfície de deslizamento e as saliências da banda de rodagem. O molde inclui ainda um par de placas de molde de parede lateral que estão em contato de apoio com os segmentos do molde da banda de rodagem e formam um par de linhas divisórias de molde que se estendem circunferencialmente e que estão em alinhamento axial com uma tira de reforço de náilon localizada na porção de coroa do pneu e dentro de 1,27 cm da superfície circunferencial interna dos segmentos do molde da banda de rodagem para reduzir a rebarba formada no pneu moldado.
