Abstract
"ESTRATÉGIA DE CONTROLE PARA REGENERAR UM FILTRO DE PARTÍCULA EM UM SISTEMA DE DESCARGA DE UM MOTOR TENDO UM MECANISMO DE ACIONAMENTO DE VÁLVULA VARIÁVEL". A presente invenção refere-se a um controle (30) para controlar um mecanismo de acionamento de válvula variável (26) de um motor de combustão interna (10) para regenerar um filtro de partículas (35) no sistema de descarga (25) do motor. O controle compreende um programa de operação (50, 50A) para regenerar o filtro de partículas enquanto o motor está funcionando sob sua própria energia fazendo com que o mecanismo de acionamento de válvula variável mude a sincronização das válvulas de cilindro do motor durante um ciclo de operação de motor, e como resultado, eleve a temperatura do fluxo através do sistema de descarga que é eficaz para queimar partículas retidas pelo filtro.
