A presente invenção refere-se a um método e mecanismo para remover súlfur de uma corrente de fluido contendo hidrocarboneto onde a dessulfurização é realçada melhorando-se o contato a corrente de fluido contendo hidrocarboneto e particulados sólidos sorvendo súlfur em um reator de leito fluidizado (12).
