Abstract
"FORMAÇÃO DE REVESTIMENTOS RESISTENTES À CORROSÃO". Um processo de revestimento compreendendo: (A) aplicação a uma superfície, por exemplo, uma superfície metálica, de uma composição de revestimento consistindo essencialmente em um silicato de metal alcalino e uma fase líquida aquosa tendo ali dispersas partículas de alumínio sólidas para formar sobre a superfície um revestimento úmido; e (B) secagem do dito revestimento úmido: (I) sob condições que convertem o dito revestimento úmido em um revestimento sólido, resistente à corrosão, eletricamente condutivo; ou (ii) sob condições que formam um revestimento sólido que não é eletricamente condutivo (não-condutivo) e a seguir tratando o dito revestimento não-condutivo sob condições que convertem o dito revestimento não-condutivo em um revestimento resistente à corrosão eletricamente condutivo. Composições para uso no processo, e a provisão de artigos revestidos altamente resistentes à corrosão.
