Abstract

"APARELHO PARA O REVESTIMENTO CONTÍNUO DE FIO". A invenção fornece um aparelho e método que podem ser utilizados para aplicar uma camada fina de um material de revestimento viscoso a um filamento alongado em movimento contínuo onde o filamento pode ser cabeado, revestido e enrolado em uma operação contínua. O aparelho possui um aplicador de material de revestimento para distribuir um material fluido, um aplicador de ar para suprir ar comprimido, um misturador para misturar o material fluido e o ar comprimido, um meio de distribuição para pulverizar o material fluido misturado e ar em um filamento, e uma câmara de revestimento através da qual o filamento passa. A câmara possui um coletor de material e uma matriz de revestimento, e um acessório de vedação com um furo de saída é localizado sob a câmara de revestimento. O filamento é pulverizado antes de entrar no coletor de material.
