Abstract
"COMPARTIMENTO DE ESTEPE DE COMPÓSITO E SEU USO". Provê-se um conjunto de compartimento de estepe de veículo (10) que é adaptado para acoplar num assoalho de veículo (12). O conjunto de compartimento de estepe inclui um assoalho (18) e uma parede lateral anular estendendo-se ascendentemente da periferia do assoalho. Uma coluna (34) estende-se ascendentemente do centro do assoalho para acoplar o conjunto de compartimento de estepe. Um conector roscado (36) estende-se ascendentemente da coluna para acoplamento roscado com um receptáculo numa tampa (44) . A parede lateral termina ou num flange de montagem (28) ou num porta-malas (60). Quando conectado a um porta-malas, o porta-malas inclui um flange de montagem. O assoalho e paredes laterais preferivelmente são formadas integralmente de um material compósito. Cria-se um espaço de armazenagem na área da coluna. Provê-se também um método para prender um conjunto de compartimento de estepe de veículo num veículo.
