Abstract
"MÉTODOS PARA FORMAR UM EXTRUSADO TENDO ESPESSURA SUBSTANCIALMENTE UNIFORME, PARA EXTRUSAR, E PARA EXTRUSAR UM EXTRUSADO UNIFORME". A invenção é um método de formar um extrusado, tendo espessura substancialmente uniforme. Um calço (33A, 33B, 33C) é formado, que tem uma variação de espessura menor que ou igual a cerca de 0,5 mil (13 micros) da excentricidade total indicada. Este calço (33A, 33B, 33C) é disposto entre uma primeira parte de matriz (28A) tendo uma primeira superfície (42A) e uma segunda parte de matriz (28B), tendo uma segunda superfície (44A). Uma fenda (32) é formada entre a primeira superfície (42A) e a segunda superfície (44A). A fenda (32) tem uma dimensão em peso (H) substancialmente igual à da espessura do calço. Material escoável é extrusado através da fenda (32).
