Abstract
"ARTIGO ELÁSTICO, MÉTODO PARA PRODUZIR UMA FOLHA CONTÍNUA COMPÓSITA, E, FOLHA CONTÍNUA COMPÓSITA". São divulgados métodos para a fabricação de folhas contínuas compósitas que incluem um substrato com uma ou mais regiões poliméricas discretas de reforço localizadas sobre ou no interior da folha contínua compósita. O material termoplástico não elastomérico fundido da região polimérica discreta é forçado de encontro ao substrato por um rolo de transferência. Se o substrato é poroso, fibroso, etc., uma parte da composição termoplástica não elastomérica pode se infiltrar no substrato e/ou encapsular fibras do substrato. As folhas contínuas compósitas incluem ainda um material termoplástico elastomérico em regiões poliméricas discretas sobre ou no interior da folha contínua compósita.
