Abstract

"MANIPULAÇÃO DE PARTÍCULAS MAGNÉTICAS DE FLUXO CONTROLADO". Métodos e aparelhos inventivos (1, 2) são úteis para coletar materiais magnéticos em um ou mais campos magnéticos e suspender outra vez as partículas em um meio de dispersão, e opcionalmente repetir a coleta/re-suspensão uma ou mais vezes no mesmo meio ou meio diferente, mediante controle da direção e regime de fluxo de fluido através do caminho (10) de fluxo de fluido. Os métodos proporcionam contatar partículas derivadas com amostras e reagentes de teste, remoção do reagente em excesso, lavagem do material magnético, e re-suspensão para análise, dentre outros usos. Os métodos são aplicáveis a uma variedade de materiais químicos e biológicos que são suscetíveis à rotulagem magnética, incluindo, por exemplo, células, vírus, oligonucleotídeos, proteínas, hormônios, complexos de receptor-ligante, contaminadores ambientais e semelhantes.
