Abstract
"FILTRO DE PARTÍCULAS OPERANDO COM QUEIMA DE FULIGEM PARA MOTORES A DIESEL". Num filtro de partículas que opera com queima de fuligem cujas superfícies filtrantes são compostas de metal sinterizado, se provoca a inflamação do depósito de fuligem numa região selecionada da superficie por meio de uma fonte de aquecimento elétrica, e o restante da combustão da fuligem ocorre por meio da propagação das chamas dentro da camada de fuligem.
