É apresentado um dispositivo de administração de droga oftalmológica tendo uma superfície esclerótica, uma superfície orbital, e um orifício de injeção na superfície orbital, e uma passagem de condução do fluido disposto dentro do dispositivo, que é acoplado de forma fluida no orifício de injeção e tem uma abertura para comunicação do fluido com uma superfície externa da esclerótica. O fluido contém um agente farmaceuticamente ativo útil para o tratamento de uma doença do segmento posterior do olho.
