Um dispositivo para prender a alça de um recipiente colocado em uma máquina de mistura do tipo que compreende mecanismo de suporte (10, 12) para o recipiente compreende pelo menos um elemento resilientemente flexível (14), que é acoplado ao mecanismo de suporte (10, 12) e que está adaptado para fazer compressão, quando em uso, contra a alça afim de mantê-la perto do recipiente, quando o recipiente é colocado na posição operacional de mistura.
