"ELEMENTO DE UNIÃO TUBULAR PARA ACOPLAR ENTRE SI COMPRIMENTOS DE TUBOS, E, COLUNA DE TUBOS". É divulgado um elemento de união (10) para uso em indústrias de exploração e extração de óleo e gás. O elemento de união de acoplamento tubular é adaptado para unir comprimentos de tubos uns nos outros (20) para formar uma coluna de tubos e inclui um elemento protetor que se estende radialmente (14) disposto na superfície externa dos mesmos para proteger um cabo (22) ou outro meio que desce longitudinalmente com a coluna de tubos. Em uma modalidade preferida, os elementos que se estendem radialmente são nervuras radialmente salientes que ficam dispostas igualmente pela superfície do elemento de união tubular.
