"COMPOSIÇÕES DE MINERAIS CONTENDO MAGNÉSIO INSOLÚVEL PARA USO NA FILTRAÇÃO DE FLUIDO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e dispositivo para a filtração e/ou purificação de fluidos, água ou outras soluções contendo contaminantes químicos e microbiológicos, tal como um fluido contendo cistos, bactérias e/ou vírus, e metais pesados e/ou pesticidas, onde o fluido é passados através de um material de purificação composto de mineral contendo magnésio e mais preferivelmente magnésio contendo silicatos, magnésio contendo óxidos, magnésio contendo hidróxido, e magnésio contendo fosfatos e meio de absorção em uma matriz aglutinadora fixa.
