Compreendendo um corpo (11) tendo uma superfície de britagem (10b) e, em posição oposta, uma superfície de apoio (10a) para fixação ao britador, dito corpo (11) sendo provido de uma pluralidade de alojamentos (15) ocupando uma certa extensão da peça de desgaste (10) e recebendo, cada um, um inserto (20) construído em material mais duro do que o do corpo (11) e tendo uma face extrema de desgaste (21) disposta de modo a definir a superfície de britagem (10b) na região do respectivo alojamento (15), a partir de uma condição de desgaste nulo ou de desgaste inicial da superfície de britagem (21b) da peça de desgaste (10).
