Abstract
"PILHA DE PROTOCOLO DE TRANSPORTE EM TEMPO REAL (RTP) NO LADO DO CLIENTE PARA DISPOSITIVOS PEQUENOS". Que pode ser desenvolvida em um dispositivo pequeno, tal como um PDA, que tem requisitos de memória restritivos. A pilha de (RTP) inclui um módulo receptor capaz de receber dados através de uma camada de transporte subjacente, e um perfil de dispositivo pequeno que define uma fração da largura de faixa para que os dados de controle de (RTCP) sejam menores do que cinco por cento, decrescendo até zero. Desse modo, a pilha de (RTP) pode evitar o processamento de dados de (RTCP) e a transmissão de dados de (RTP). Como uma conseqüência disso, ao se usar as realizações da presente invenção, uma pilha de (RTP) de dispositivo pequeno pode ser implementada para que tenha uma marca de identificação de cerca de 50 a 60 KB.
