Abstract

"APARELHO E MÉTODO PARA EXTRAIR PARTÍCULAS DE UMA CORRENTE DE FLUIDO". Um extrator de cascalho inclui canais de entrada e saída dispostos para injetar e extrair tangencialmente líquido para dentro de uma câmara redonda. A velocidade de entrada e saída da câmara é controlada pela largura do canal de saída. A velocidade é mantida dentro de uma região ideal através de uma faixa de fluxo de dez para um. Uma variação eficiente de dez para um no fluxo é alcançada com uma velocidade na faixa de 0,45 metros (1,5 pés) por segundo até 1,06 metros (3,5 metros) por segundo.
