Abstract
"INSERTO DE CORTE E MÉTODO PARA PRODUZI-LO". Um inserto de corte (10) compreende uma face de incidência (12), uma pluralidade de faces de flanco (16) incluindo faces de folga (16a) tendo um ângulo de folga positivo (a). Uma aresta de corte (18) é formada em uma interseção entre as faces de incidência (12) e a face de flanco (16) e uma aresta de corte limpadora convexa formada na aresta de corte (18). Um método para formar o inserto de corte (10) compreende as etapas de colocar um material em pó em uma matriz e prensar o material em pó na matriz para conseguir uma forma tendo uma porção convexa (12a) na face de incidência (12) e pelo menos uma face de folga substancialmente plana (16a) tendo um ângulo de folga positivo (a). A seguir, a forma é removida da matriz e sinterizada.
