Abstract
"FERRAMENTA COM RESISTÊNCIA APERFEIÇOADA PARA DESLOCAMENTO". Um método de tratar uma ferramenta (10) que inclui texturizar pelo menos uma região (32) de pelo menos uma superfície da ferramenta para aumentar a rugosidade de superfície e resistência de fricção. A ferramenta pode estar em uma variedade de formas tais como um inserto de ferramenta de corte. O processo de texturização pode ser realizado por qualquer método adequado tal como impacto de feixe de laser, esmerilhação, jato de areia, moldagem, gravação química, fotolitografia e/ou gravação por íon reativo. As ferramentas feitas pelo método também são descritas.
