A invenção refere-se a um processo para a destilação fracionária contínua de misturas contendo tetraidrofurano, -butirolactona e/ou 1,4-butanodiol em pelo menos três frações, em que a separação é realizada em uma montagem de colunas de destilação contendo pelo menos uma coluna de parede divisória ou pelo menos uma montagem de colunas convencionais de destilação termicamente acopladas.
