"CATALISADOR DE ÓXIDO DE ETILENO". A invenção refere-se a um catalisador de prata para oxidação do etileno a óxido de etileno contendo uma combinação de promotores que consiste em quantidades críticas de um componente de metal alcalino e um componente de enxofre, sendo o catalisador essencialmente livre de componentes de rênio e metal de transição; opcionalmente o catalisador contém um componente de flúor.
