"COMPOSTOS CONTENDO PIPERIDINA BENZOAMIDA E COMPOSTOS RELACIONADOS". A presente invenção refere-se a compostos contendo uma determinada piperidina benzoamida e compostos relacionados que exibem atividade como antagonistas do receptor NK-1, (por exemplo antagonistas do receptor da substância P), a composições farmacêuticas que os contém, e a sua utilização no tratamento e prevenção de distúrbios do sistema nervoso central, distúrbios inflamatórios, distúrbios cardiovasculares, distúrbios oftálmicos, distúrbios gastrintestinais, distúrbios causados por helicobacter pylori, distúrbios do sistema imunitário, incontinência urinária, dores, enxaqueca, vômito, angiogênese e outros distúrbios.
