Abstract
"PROCESSO DE FABRICAÇÃO PARA UM ABRASIVO DE JATO INOXIDÁVEL, DE ARESTAS VIVAS, À BASE DE UMA LIGA DE FE-CR-C". A invenção refere-se a um processo para fabricação de um abrasivo de jato de arestas vivas, inoxidável (>60 HRC) à base de uma liga de Fe-Cr-C. Um granulado de uma liga de ferro-cromo-carbono é então temperada a >60 HRC, na medida em que é submetida a um tratamento térmico a mais de 900 Celsius sob atmosfera redutora. Resulta dessa maneira um material duro, inoxidável, que pode ser fragmentado para grãos de arestas vivas. O resultado é um abrasivo de jato com propriedades destacadas para o tratamento de superfície de peças de trabalho com material não oxidável, como por exemplo aço nobre, metal não ferroso, pedra natural.
