Abstract
"VENTRÍCULO INTRACAVITÁRIO ARTIFICIAL". A invenção se refere a um Ventrículo Intracavitário Artificial (AIV), o qual compreende um dispositivo de suporte circulatório mecânico, o qual é projetado para ser montado no interior da massa muscular e preservado em um ventrículo natural na falha terminal. O referido modelo torna possível a utilização de um espaço disponível no interior do mediastino anterior e preservar a irrigação e o funcionamento do ventrículo contralateral.
