"PLATAFORMA HÍBRIDA E MÉTODO PARA SUA CONSTRUÇÃO E INSTALAÇÃO". A presente invenção se refere a uma plataforma híbrida para perfuração e produção de óleo e gás em águas profundos, a qual possui algumas características de plataformas do tipos auto-elevatória, semi-submersível e de pernas tensionadas. A presente invenção apresenta ainda um método de construção e instalação da dita plataforma híbrida. A dito plataforma híbrida compreende um casco móvel (4) provido de pernas treliçadas deslizantes (3) e de instalações destinadas a perfurar poços de petróleo no mar, ou a receber a produção proveniente destes poços, compreendendo adicionalmente um flutuador-base (2) o qual se interconecta em sua porção superior às extremidades inferiores das ditos pernas treliçadas (3).
