"TANQUE DE COMBUSTÍVEL TENDO UMA ESTRUTURA DE MULTI-CAMADA". Um tanque de combustível plástico automotivo, com uma parede que tem uma camada estrutural de HDPE e uma camada de barreira de combustível de hidrocarboneto de um material à base de EVOH, com uma camada de aglutinante entre elas. A camada de barreira impede a passagem de hidrocarbonetos através da parede para a atmosfera. A camada de barreira está em uma face externa da parede e, preferencialmente, no interior do tanque, em contato direto com o combustível ali. Preferencialmente, a barreira inclui uma camada de poliamida (A) ou uma mistura de poliamida (A) e poliolefina (B).
