Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REDUZIR A CONCENTRAÇÃO DE METAIS E METALÓIDES DISSOLVIDOS EM UMA SOLUÇÃO AQUOSA". Uma solução aquosa, por exemplo, efluente de um removedor de gás de combustão, é tratada para remover os íons de metal e de metalóide por precipitação in situ de íons ferrosos pela adição a esta de uma solução contendo íon ferroso, sal ou outra tal fonte contendo íon ferroso e uma base rendendo hidroxila na presença de metais e metalóides. As condições de reação incluem uma temperatura de pelo menos de cerca de 60 C, e um pH de cerca de 6 a 10.
