Abstract

"AFASTADOR PARA FERIMENTO". Um afastador (101) para retrair os lados de uma abertura de ferimento (103) compreende um anel-em-O interno de ancoragem (105) fixado a uma luva cilíndrica (106) em uma extremidade distal e um anel-em-O de reforço (109) fixado a uma extremidade proximal da luva (106). A luva (106) é conduzida entre uma parte interna do anel (110) e um rebaixo correspondente (116) em uma parte externa do anel (111) . A parte externa do anel (111) tem formações de ancoragem (120) sobre as quais a extremidade proximal da luva (106) está fixada para ancorar a luva (106). Para retrair a abertura de ferimento (103), a luva (106) é tracionada enquanto oB anéis de guia (110, 111) são deslocados contra o tecido que circunda a abertura de ferimento (103) . Isto traciona o anel-em-O interno (105) contra o lado interno do tecido adjacente da abertura de ferimento (103) e retrai a abertura de ferimento (103) . A luva (106) é manipulada localmente para máxima eficiência de retração.
