Um carregador de artigo e uma matriz para formar um carregador de artigo para sustentar uma pluralidade de artigos, por exemplo garrafas (A), cujo carregador compreende uma pluralidade de painéis que incluem painéis de parede lateral (12, 16, 18) para formar uma estrutura tubular. Um dos painéis de parede lateral (16) é dotado de pelo menos uma linha de separação (72) e uma lingüeta de reforço (54) é conectada de maneira articulada a uma aresta de uma primeira abertura (74) para receber o artigo. A lingüeta de reforço (54) é dobrada para ficar subjacente a um painel de parede lateral (16).
