Uma composição para a redução da deposição de um sal mineral de uma solução aquosa supersaturada sobre uma superfície sólida em contato com a solução aquosa supersaturada, compreendendo a composição uma dispersão ou (i) de cristais de semeadura do sal mineral em uma solução aquosa do sal mineral ou (ii) cristais de semeadura de um sal isomorfo com o sal mineral em uma solução aquosa do sal isomorfo, tendo os cristais de semeadura dispersos uma granulometria média inferior a 2,5 micra.
