Abstract
"TRATAMENTO DE SUPERFÍCIE DE DISPOSITIVOS MÉDICOS COM POLÍMEROS HIDRÓFILOS REATIVOS". A presente invenção é dirigida ao tratamento de superfície de dispositivos médicos de silicone tais como lentes de contato e implantes médicos. Em particular, a presente invenção é dirigida a um método de modificação da superfície de um dispositivo médico a fim de aumentar sua biocompatibilidade ou hidrofilia revestindo o dispositivo com um polímero hidrófilo por meio de reação entre funcionalidades reativas do polímero hidrófilo cujas funcionalidades são complementares às funcionalidades reativas sobre ou próximas à superfície do dispositivo médico. A presente invenção é dirigida também a lente de contato ou outro dispositivo médico tendo tal revestimento de superfície.
