Abstract
"MÉTODO, APARELHO E COMPOSIÇÃO PARA INIBIR A CAPACIDADE DE MOSQUITOS DETECTAREM UM ALVO ATRAVÉS DE EMISSÕES OLFATIVAS DO MESMO NUM ESPAÇO AMBIENTAL TRIDIMENSIONAL". A capacidade de mosquitos localizarem um alvo através de emissões olfativas do alvo é inibida dispensando-se numa área espacial uma quantidade inibidora eficaz de pelo menos um composto inibidor selecionado do grupo consistindo de 3-metil-1-alquen-3-óis da fórmula (I) e 3-metil-1-alquin-3-óis da fórmula (II), onde R^ 1^ e R^ 2^ são, cada qual, independentemente um grupo hidrocarboneto alifático saturado ou insaturado contendo de 1 a cerca de 12 átomos de carbono.
