A invenção refere se a um dispositivo (1) para aplicar um revestimento superficial parcial (2a, 2b) sobre uma película (W), o referido dispositivo sendo projetado para aplicar um revestimento dupla-face (2a, 2b). O dispositivo (1) é fornecido com dispositivos de aplicação (3a, Sb) com telas movíveis (6a, 6b). As referidas telas (6a, 6b) são alinhadas uma com a outra de tal modo que o revestimento superficial (2a) na face um (4a) da película (W) seja substancialmente idêntico ao revestimento superficial (2b) da outra face (4b) da película (W).
