É divulgado um método de fabricar embalagem de proteção com células de ar mediante a formação a vácuo de uma folha (22), para formar áreas de bolhas (25), e unir a folha formada a uma camada de base de plástico (34), para formar uma multiplicidade de células de ar (24). Uma folha de bolhas de dois lados é formada pela união de folhas de bolhas a lados opostos de uma camada de base de plástico.
