Abstract
"CABO DE ELEVADOR DE BAIXO ESTIRAMENTO, E, MÉTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO". Um cabo de elevador de baixo estiramento (10) é obtido no qual um núcleo de plástico (12) tem um membro de resistência central (18) que não aumenta o peso do cabo por mais que 5%. Além disso, o núcleo de plástico (12) tem um diâmetro que excede 50% do diâmetro do cabo (10), quando medido antes de enrolar fios de aço (14) sobre o núcleo (12). Os fios de aço (14) que são enrolados ao redor do núcleo (12) são convencionais e são assim enrolados de forma que o material de plástico do núcleo (12) essencialmente enche os interstícios internos (16) entre os fios de aço (14).
