Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA ABATER SIMULTANEAMENTE OS ÓXIDOS NÍTRICOS E O PROTÓXIDO DE NITROGÊNIO NOS GASES QUE CONTÊM OS MESMOS". É possível purificar gases industriais antes da rejeição na atmosfera de seus óxidos de nitrogênio N~ 2~O e NO~ x~ por reação com o amoníaco fazendo-se os mesmos circular a temperaturas de 200-600 C em um catalisador à base de zeólito beta carregado de ferro. O processo se aplica notadamente ao tratamento dos gases de fundo das oficinas de produção de ácido nítrico.
