A presente invenção se refere a uma vacina contra malária contendo um polipeptídeo possuindo a seqüência aminoácida da parte terminal-C da proteína do circunsporozóito de uma espécie Plasmodium, em cujo polipeptídeo um ou mais pares dos radicais de cisteínas são oxidados, e opcionalmente um adequado veículo e/ou adjuvante e/ou microcápsulas biodegradáveis para uso em humanos.
