Abstract
"MEIO RECEPTOR DE IMAGEM, PROCESSO PARA PREPARAÇÃO DE UMA CAMADA FORMADORA DE IMAGEM SOBRE UM MEIO DE BASE, GRÁFICO DE IMAGEM, E, PROCESSO PARA FIXAR UM GRÁFICO DE IMAGEM" Descreve-se um meio receptor de imagem como apresentando um meio de base, uma camada termorreversível adjacente a este meio de base, e uma camada formadora de imagem porosa. Uma imagem pode ser aplicada sobre a camada formadora de imagem, e então pode ser aplicar calor e pressão sobre o meio receptor de imagem. Uma quantidade substancial de poros na camada porosa formadora de imagem são enchidos pelo material da camada termorreversível, desta forma fixando a imagem. O meio receptor de imagem pode ser apoiado por uma combinação adesivo/forro de liberação ou fixadores mecânicos para proporcionar meios de fixação ou pode ser deixado sem tais meios para usos iluminados por trás tipo "que deixa cair" ou outros usos não-adesivos.
